The First Hole

A journey of one thousand miles begins with just one step. I can’t claim to remember who said this quote and I’m not even sure if I wrote it correctly; but it expresses my feelings about today. For today I take my first step towards launching a program I have been thinking about for quite some time: combining my love for golf with my expertise as an executive and leadership coach into a unique experience on the golf course for women wanting to breakthrough to success with their business or their career.

I am being gently pushed to create my dream by my coaching colleagues and golfer girlfriends. They see how passionate I am about the creative transformation that can occur when one is on the course.

I am not a golf professional nor do I possess a low handicap – I just love the game of golf and know the lessons that can be learned while swinging the club and walking the fairway. I will use this blog for inspiring articles, golf-sightings, and updates on my programs. I can pretty much guarantee, if you get out of your head and go with the flow of your swing, your chances of being successful with your career, your business and your golf game will certainly improve.

Grab your clubs and your open mind and enjoy the next nine holes! I look forward to your comments about my sightings!

Happy Birdies!

Jeanette how exciting! Although our home abuts a golf course and we have collected dozens of stay balls over the past decade I know NOTIHING about the game and look forward to your metaphors and wisdom! Good luck.

Thanks for being the first person to post a comment on my new blog Pear!
Aren’t you wonderful! Giving those lost and stray golf balls a nice home! Golf balls, like pets, love to be rescued. You sound like a warm and sincere Pearl, and probably give warmth and safety to more than just golf balls!
    Thanks for the follow!

I can’t wait to see what wisdom you’ll share with your readers, your clients, and your fellow golfers! The flow of your swing, the journey thru the green, and the lessons you’ll teach and learn as you hit and follow the ball! I know if I were on the green with you, well, we’d be in the sand traps and I know you would encourage me to be patient, to reframe, and just celebrate that I gave it my best try (as I don’t golf). So happy you’re finally doing this!

    You go girl!
